Davies Creek Falls, near Mareeba, is a magnificent waterfall cascading over huge granite boulders. A popular day visiting spot there are many separate areas you can use to hold your wedding ceremony. As well there are beautiful camping locations spread out across a wide area. You can’t see or hear other campers, which makes having a wedding ceremony here magical and extremely peaceful.
The best option is to book a campsite so your wedding ceremony is private. If camping is your love then you can also stay the night if you wish and have your guests camp also. Campfires are allowed, just take your own firewood. You will need to buy a camping permit from the National Parks to make sure you have no problems.
